Seaweed derived anti-inflammatory agents and antioxidants (SWAFAX) meeting and Bioactives from Seaweed - Dissemination and Innovation Event
Thursday 16, Friday 17 and Saturday 18 June 2011, University of Ulster, Coleraine
This year’s “Seaweed for Health” (www.seaweedforhealth.org) dissemination & innovation event is being held in conjunction with the 2nd Governing Council Meeting for the SWAFAX project and is being hosted by The University of Ulster, Coleraine. The following information details the various events outlined in the programme that require registration and payment to attend. Registration for individual events occurs automatically when a payment is received.
Please note that:
- The SWAFAX meeting is a closed meeting for members of the SWAFAX consortium only (Event code: SWAFAX).
- The University of Ulster Knowledge Club event "Market Opportunities for Seaweed: Polyphenols and other interesting Bioactives" being held on Thursday 16th June is a free event and is open to all delegates and invited persons.
- The tour of the Centre for Molecular Biosciences is a free event and is open to all delegates and invited persons.
- Accompanying persons are welcome to join in the social events and Antrim Coast tour for the same price as attending delegates.
- Breakfast vouchers for those booking on campus accommodation can also be purchased on this site.

Thursday 16th June

Friday 17th June

- Morning & afternoon – Conference: “Bioactives from Seaweed” and “Innovative ingredients in salt reduction”, includes lunch (Event code: CONFERENCE 17/6)
- Evening - Seaweed Culinary Event, includes dinner (Event code: DINNER 17/6)
Saturday 18th June
- Breakfast – Cereal, bread, milk, juice, tea & coffee to self cater (Event code: BREAKFAST 18/6)
- Afternoon & evening – Causeway Coast Tour, includes dinner (Event code: TOUR 18/6)
