Lisa started working at Cybercolloids in 2017. She initially graduated with her BSc in Food Science and Nutrition from the University of Wisconsin Madison in 2012. After spending some time working in product development, she went back to college and completed her PhD through Teagasc and University College Cork in Ireland. Her PhD focused mainly on bioactive encapsulation within emulsion systems to improve functionality. During her PhD, she also collaborated on various projects involving protein functionality, nano-materials and lipid self-assembly. Lisa also has research experience with different microscopy techniques, X-ray diffraction and thermal analysis.
